Advanced Electrolysis

Vivan Orgel's Background

It started over 35 years ago...

My embarrassment from unsightly hair taught me to perceive stress, emotions, and health matters differently. Serious safety concerns led me to share this information in my book series. I offer a greater scope than most magazines provide and focus on mind-body techniques to address life's challenges. I discovered that experts in this field are frequently misquoted, which can lead to consumer confusion. This series contains a wealth of trusted expert knowledge to educate consumers about hair removal methods and how to attain the best possible results. Learn to understand medical conditions, potential side effects and safety concerns, to control adverse skin reactions and avoid injuries. These methods are explained in The Hair Removal and Skin Care Safety Resource Guide.

Emotional, physical or environmental stressors such as insomnia, allergies, anger, extreme noise or weather conditions can cause problems in the way skin responds to various products and hair removal treatments.

I examine the causes of excess hair growth and enable consumers to learn the solutions that will most effectively resolve their problems.I also address the importance of physical and emotional management and personality factors. My holistic approach provides the care, consideration and insight essential to emotional well-being and optimal appearance.

Talking about unwanted hair growth embarrasses some people. Hair growth can be more than a cosmetic problem and may indicate a medical concern.

What causes skin damage besides bad technique?

As the hair removal director in Bloomingdale's Beauty Salon and in private practice, I have seen nightmarish consequences resulting from poor hair removal techniques. Consumers are relatively unaware of the range of hazards involved and how to avoid them. Expert education is the best tool for self-protection. Did you know your body, mind and skin are affected by ongoing or extreme stress? Under these circumstances, it's important to recognize current health and skin conditions before beginning a procedure. The application of heat, chemicals or wax that would not normally injure the skin, could do so under these circumstances. Even a normal shave can cause burns and rashes.

Please explore the book index and table of contents to discover a broad array of health and beauty topics, plus preventative techniques for medical, salon and self-treatment.

Also, be sure to share these valuable insights with friends and family.
